mixed-use commercial and residential building project
The mixed-use development was composed our junior year. I was the project manager of the team, meaning I denoted tasks to my architect (Christian Couch) and my engineer (Sarah Parrett). Our team was tasked with renovating an existing structure in downtown Jacksonville, to better suit a growing need for retail and residential space. Additionally, the new building needed to be sustainable. Our building, The Marmora, provided shade for the retail spaces, as well as visual access from Laura Street to the St. John's River.
dryline project
The dryline project involved designing a protective park in downtown St. Augustine to accommodate an increase in flooding along the St. John's River. I provided three solutions, each involving public green space to ensure the "park" element of the protective park remained the most important.
Tiny house village for veterans
This project was created my junior year, in response to a growing need for affordable veteran housing. The community aims to achieve a successful relocation of veterans out of therapy and rehabilitation with an independent home and facility that can aid them in their journey. My tiny houses, each under 200 square feet, are easily transportable as well to provide the veterans with a opportunity to travel.
